I’ve been working on my blog series the last few times I’ve grabbed some minutes to write. I like to have three or four blog posts scheduled incase my own schedule gets crazier than normal. I also have a system to getting them ready. First, I do an edit/rewrite, design the blog post, and schedule it. Then, a few days before it goes up, I do another edit/rewrite. I take that final version and add it to a new file I have created for the series. This way when I finish the series online I have done another rewrite of the novel. It’s just one more step in the process of getting my story ready to publish.
Now. The interesting part about having When Skies are Gray as my blog series is that I’ve done so much work on the world since I wrote it. I even figured out where Dorian is and all that kind of stuff. So each time I do a blog post I’m having to hold in my head all the facts of the world, the other two novels I have finished in the same setting, the one I’m working on now, and all Crow’s history – past, present and future. That might explain my slight headache.
It’s been really fun to jump back into this story and really refresh my love of Crow, Olive and everyone else. I can’t wait to share this story with everyone
My Muse: Rocky. What a great story. I watched it for the first time the other day. Can’t believe I’ve missed it for so long. I can’t wait to watch it again soon and really soak it in. I might try to do a blog post about it later.

Life is very hetic and you make it look easy. I admire you for your ability to keep all the worlds straight and clear.
Ha! I’m glad I make it look easy, but it’s not. I always have to go back and check facts and look for mistakes and things. I very detailed and it bothers me to no end if the details are wrong. Thank goodness for beta readers too!
great minds think alike!!! I publish a blog post daily, and try to keep 3 of 4 scheduled in reserve for a day (or two) in a row that might turn busy
Yep! Me too! Though right now, I’m not doing so well on the reserves. Maybe next week I can get a bit of a cushion!
